:::He Knows Our Hurts:::

On this journey of life, joys and sorrows come our way.

Our world is turned topsy-turvy by things we come across when we reach bends in the road.
And, sometimes it may seem like the sorrow outweighs the joy. Things can break our heart...terribly.


But, you know what?

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all."

~Psalm 34:18, 19 NIV

Jesus is all knowing--He cares deeply for each individual...and what happens to them.

 

No matter what you are going through, He's there.  Even if it seems like He is a million miles away. 

Call on His name.  Rest in Him.  Take refuge in Christ. 

Cast all of your cares upon Him.  Our burdens are just too heavy for us to bare the weight of them.  The funny thing is, often times I find myself *insisting* on carrying the weight on my shoulders. It is always such a relief to surrender those burdens to God, though!  Let Him take all of the stress, worry, or fear of a situation.  It's not too big for God!

We can only see the present.  But Jesus can see the past, present, and future.  He has an ultimate plan for our lives, and sometimes, it does includes hardships.  These will hopefully, in the end, bring about beautiful character and a closer walk with our Creator.  Take it from a friend who has this knowledge, from having walked through this.

Take heart.  Don't give up hope!  You're beautiful.  God loves you and so do I. *smiles*

Ms. Molly has been in the hospital for a little over a week now due to some complications after she had her usual maintenance chemo to treat her cancer. See this post to learn more.
