First of all, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for the sweet comments written!
It has been such an encouragement through this long, stormy day!
As of now:
The rain has slowed down a lot--and the winds have too, now there are just a few wind gusts.
Irene is slowly but surely making her way out of our town. We are through the worst of it! Yay!
One of the 'I can't believe it' miracles of the day....
We have had our power throughout the whole hurricane!!
Our power has flicked off about 15 times throughout the whole day, only to come back on a couple of seconds later. We've also had our lights flicker several times without going out completely. I guess God knew we would need the power since the big tree incident!! {Oh, girls, that's a whole 'nother story--It'll have to wait for a separate posts with lot of details and pictures. What. a. big. mess!!}

God is good!! He has protected us from so many things that could have happened to make our situation worse. Let us praise Him!!

Yes, God is so good! That is amazing that your power didn't go out! Yes! That is something to praise God for! I'll keep praying!

You know why God protected you? This morning, before church service, the entire church I go to prayed that everyone on the east coast of the USA would be safe. He answered our prayers!

Wooooh! Wow! We had a cyclone come through earlier this year and yes we had a few near missess with trees on the house. We too did not lose power either which was quite amazing! I'm glad none of you ended up with a tree on your head! Praying ;)
