Christmas: God's Gift to the World

Nearly 2,000 years ago, God sent a precious bundle into the world:  Jesus, His son in the form of a babe. 

He was born in a stable, wrapped in swaddling clothes,

and laid in a manger because there was not a place for Him in the inn {Luke 2:7}.

This is a beautiful Christmas song that I thought would go well with this post. :)

An angel announced

His conception and gave Him His name. 

The heavenly host sang a

glorious anthem at His birth. 

By the extraordinary star,

the very heavens indicated His coming. 

In himself He was the most illustrious

child ever born--the holy child of

Mary, the divine Son of God.
